Don't think England play til March so the little pudding Shaw will have had a few more games but Cresswell has had a better season obviously.
Baines hasn't been at his best either.

I get the feeling none will be picked with Carroll edged out by Austin or Ings and Downing dropped after his quiet Scotland game.

Walker & Clyne will be picked before Jenks and Tomkins and Noble aren't even close in Roy's mind.

There is a youngster playing county level called Roderick Romanerry. For the love of god I hope he makes to international level whilst Woy is in charge. Would love to hear him get his laughing gear around that fucking name

In his last squad he picked:

Leighton Baines (Everton), Gary Cahill (Chelsea), Calum Chambers (Arsenal), Nathaniel Clyne (Southampton), Kieran Gibbs (Arsenal), Phil Jagielka (Everton), Luke Shaw (Manchester United), Chris Smalling (Manchester United)

All three of our defenders are good enough to be in the pile.

Ross Barkley (Everton), Michael Carrick (Manchester United), Stewart Downing (West Ham United), Jordan Henderson (Liverpool), Adam Lallana (Liverpool), James Milner (Manchester City), Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (Arsenal), Raheem Sterling (Liverpool), Andros Townsend (Tottenham Hotspur), Theo Walcott (Arsenal), Jack Wilshere (Arsenal)

Noble is better than four of those midfielders

Saido Berahino (West Bromwich Albion), Rickie Lambert (Liverpool), Wayne Rooney (Manchester United), Daniel Welbeck (Arsenal)

Carroll is better than two of those forwards

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss Tomkins. He's got better with every game recently. Never seen him play better.

Dear Roy,

Playing for England isn't as important to players these days as it once was and for many fans it's club before country now anyway.

So, seeing as WHUFC has already won the world cup for England (that won't be happening again by the way), please leave our players alone, we don't want them selected and they invariably come back injured anyway.

Which leads me to the Dean Ashton compensation money. When are are you cunts going to cough up?

That's all for now. Best wishes for the New Year and don't forget - stay away from Upton Park.

Yours sincerely

C Toshack

With the exception of Downing and Carroll at the very top of his game, none of those players are good enough. Jenks might be in a year or two, needs to iron out positional naivety.

I still haven't gotten over Wright-Philips ruining Dean Ashton whilst training for England, so, no I don't want any of our players representing their countries.

I hope none are picked, in fact I don't really care as I'm not a knicker-wetting, panini-sticker type 13 year old spotty girl.

No point in picking Downing as he needs to play in a different formation to get the best out of him, England aren't going to deploy that formation.

If Jenkinson gets in the squad it will only put his price up.... so no.

SQUAD Possibles...
Cresswell
Jenkinson...
Carroll...

No one else...
Building for the future...Downing too old...Tomkins Noble not good enough...

Mr Wendel 1:43 Sun Jan 11
Re: Could Wroys next national squad contain 6 Hammers?
Carroll and maybe Cresswell.

Downing is not going to be someone worth having in the squad, they'll se it better going to a younger version, albeit one that doest have the same form - Milner, Delph..

Roy likes Carroll, we know that.
Kane is the one that is going to be in the next squad, its just whether or not he sticks them both in.

Rooney, Welbeck will be in. Sturridge is the best we got but he might not be fit - so there should be 2 slots for strikers.

Re: Could Wroys next national squad contain 6 Hammers?
Carroll shouldn't be near an England Squad and as good as Downing has done, neither should he. Same for Noble sadly.

Our full backs have been excellent this season, but I doubt we'll see them in the squad any time soon either
